Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the ExploreBwiti website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the site or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, participants, and anyone who submits an application or inquiry.

Our Services

ExploreBwiti provides iboga and 5-MeO-DMT ceremony services in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, rooted in the Bwiti tradition. We also provide integration coaching, educational content, and related support services.

The information on this site is for educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Always consult a qualified medical professional before considering any plant medicine experience.

All information provided through this site is restricted to jurisdictions where accessing such information is legally permitted. It is your responsibility to ensure that your access and participation complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

Intellectual Property Rights

User Representations

By using this site and submitting any application or inquiry, you represent and warrant that:

— You are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. — All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. — You will not use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms. — You will not access the site through automated means, including bots or scrapers. — You understand that participation in iboga or 5-MeO-DMT ceremony involves significant physical and psychological demands, and that suitability is determined by ExploreBwiti through a medical screening process.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use this site to:

— Extract data, scrape content, or use automated tools to access site information. — Attempt to bypass or interfere with site security. — Submit false, misleading, or incomplete information in any application or inquiry. — Reproduce or commercially exploit any site content. — Engage in conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with other users. — Use the site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Medical Disclosure & Disqualification

Full and accurate medical disclosure is mandatory for all participants. This includes — but is not limited to — all current and past medical conditions, current and recent medications (prescription and non-prescription), psychiatric history, substance use history, and cardiovascular health.

Certain conditions and medications are absolute contraindications for iboga ceremony. These include but are not limited to: current use of SSRIs or SNRIs (a supervised taper is required before any ceremony can be considered), significant cardiac conditions, liver conditions, active psychosis, and certain other psychiatric diagnoses. A full list of contraindications is provided during the intake process.

If a participant has withheld or misrepresented any material medical information — whether discovered before or during ceremony — ExploreBwiti reserves the right to immediately cancel participation. No refund will be issued in this circumstance.

ExploreBwiti assumes no liability for adverse outcomes resulting from undisclosed medical conditions, medications, or substance use.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All payments made to ExploreBwiti are final and non-refundable. Payments represent a commitment to the ceremony process and the preparation it requires.

Participants who are unable to attend their scheduled ceremony may, at ExploreBwiti's discretion, transfer their booking to a future date with a minimum of 60 days' advance notice. Transfer availability is not guaranteed.

ExploreBwiti reserves the right to cancel or postpone a ceremony for reasons including — but not limited to — safety concerns, insufficient medical screening information, or circumstances outside our control. In such cases, participants will be offered a transfer to a future date.

Participants who are disqualified on medical grounds at any point in the process — including on the day of ceremony — will not receive a refund.

Third-Party Websites & Content

This site may contain links to third-party websites, research publications, and media content. These links are provided for informational purposes only. ExploreBwiti does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

Privacy & Data

Information you submit through this site — including application forms and inquiries — is used solely for the purpose of assessing suitability for ceremony services and communicating with you about those services. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

By submitting information through this site, you consent to its use for these purposes. You bear responsibility for the accuracy of the data you provide.

Disclaimer

This site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ExploreBwiti does not warrant that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

Nothing on this site constitutes a guarantee of outcomes from ceremony participation. Individual experiences vary significantly. The research and information presented is for educational context only and does not imply that any particular result will occur for any particular individual.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ExploreBwiti, its founders, facilitators, and associated personnel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or participation in any ceremony services.

Total liability to any individual for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by that individual to ExploreBwiti in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ExploreBwiti and its founders, facilitators, and associated personnel from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses — including legal fees — arising from: your use of this site; your breach of these terms; your misrepresentation of any information provided to us; or any harm caused to other participants resulting from your actions or withheld information.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

Modifications

ExploreBwiti reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with the revision date noted below. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
