Integration Support
The Work Begins When You Leave
Integration is one of the most important parts of the healing process. The ceremony opens something. Integration determines what you do with what was opened.
Why Integration Matters
What Happens Without It
Iboga produces intense physical, emotional, and psychological processes. Extended visionary states, deep autobiographical review, and confronting insights do not simply resolve on their own. They need to be metabolised — brought from the realm of experience into the realm of lived understanding.
Without adequate integration support, a profound ceremony can leave a person feeling overwhelmed, disoriented, or disconnected from everyday life. The experience may remain a vivid memory without becoming a lived transformation. This is not a failure of the medicine. It is a gap in the process.
Many people make the mistake of treating the ceremony as the finish line. It is not. The ceremony opens a door. Integration is what you do with what you find on the other side.
The weeks and months following a ceremony are a window of heightened neuroplasticity. The brain is more open to change, new patterns, and new ways of relating to habitual behaviour. Integration work done during this period has an outsized effect on long-term outcomes.

Common Integration Challenges
Difficulty understanding or making sense of what arose during ceremony
Feeling disconnected from daily life after profound experience
Overwhelm or emotional flooding in the weeks post-ceremony
Difficulty translating insights into practical behaviour change
Navigating relationships that feel different after the experience
Maintaining the clarity and intention that ceremony opened
The Coaching Process
What Integration Coaching Involves
Processing the Experience
Making sense of what arose during ceremony. Identifying the themes, images, memories, and insights that emerged — and understanding what they are asking of you.
Emotional Regulation
Supporting the nervous system through the period of heightened sensitivity and openness that follows ceremony. Practical tools for grounding, stabilising, and staying present.
Behaviour and Pattern Work
Translating the insights of ceremony into practical change. Identifying the specific behaviours and habits that need to shift — and building the structure to make that shift sustainable.
Relationship Navigation
Ceremony often changes a person's relationship to the people in their life. Coaching supports the navigation of those shifts — both internally and in actual relationships.
Ongoing Accountability
Regular check-ins that maintain the momentum of post-ceremony change. The window of neuroplasticity is real, and using it intentionally makes a measurable difference.
Preparation for Future Work
For those considering subsequent ceremonies, integration coaching includes preparation — ensuring that the previous medicine's lessons have been embodied before returning.
Eligibility
Who This Is For
Integration coaching is available to ExploreBwiti ceremony participants as part of the overall process. It is also available to people who have worked with plant medicines elsewhere — whether recently or years ago — and who are still navigating unresolved material from those experiences.
This is not therapy. It does not replace the work of a qualified psychologist or psychiatrist. If you have significant mental health needs, we will say so directly and support you in finding appropriate care. Integration coaching is for people who are fundamentally stable and want structured support for the specific work of post-ceremony processing.
Sessions are conducted one-on-one and are tailored entirely to where you are in the process. There is no standard protocol. Every person's integration needs are different.
